Neurons and Extra Dimensions

This video accompanies a text blog entry from May of this year: "Entangled Neurons". In that entry I tied together research indicating that neurons and memory formation could be related to quantum effects with my own explanations of how "quantum spookiness" is easier to understand when we accept these effects occur "outside" of our spacetime.
"Tangential thinking" has been the theme of a number of blog entries this month. With this entry, we explore the idea that thinking itself could be connected to our extra-dimensional selves, and the parts of our awareness that are (to use Stephen Hawking's phrase) at "right angles to spacetime".
We'll continue this line of reasoning next time with Extra Dimensions and OBEs. In the meantime, here's a video on "Quantum Consciousness" which some fans of Imagining the Tenth Dimension will appreciate:

Dear Rob, I have a large collection of books and articles on time from cultural, scientific, philosophical perspectives. I'd like to pass them on to a writer who can use them. Do you have any suggestions?

Re memory, it struck me that this is why the masters advise us to work towards being mindful and present. In doing so, we become more "5th Dimensional" because we are fully aware of our twists and turns. Of course, the ultimate goal is not to be 5th Dimensional, it is to hang out in the 10th (or 11th) by default. But moving on up helps peel away the layers that are hidden to us.
