Perhaps all compound-eyed beings view a higher dimensioned reality, because I recently saw an article somewhere about a space telescope hoping to view higher dimensions. The the image of the experimental telescope reminded me of a compound eye, but only had about fifty lenses, and was about four feet long, and depicted a smiling scientist.
Also, I think I now understand better today's world in peril: Clearly we are "humans becoming", not human beeings.
