a new way of thinking about time and space ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ by Rob Bryanton
--author and research scientist David Jay Brown says: "one of the most brilliantly-conceived and mind-stretching books that I've ever encountered".
--science fiction author Greg Bear says: "a fascinating excursion into the multiverse - clear, elegant, personal and provocative"
The "Advanced" Vortex-Based Mathematics that Randy Powell is preaching is simply modulo 9 arithmetic (casting out nines method). Another key concept they are using is the cyclic number 142857 which is the only one in decimal base. This number has also other interesting properties like it's a Harshad and Kaprekar number and is the period of 1/7. I've watched all 44 parts of Marko Rodin's videos and I didn't spotted anything extraordinary (even if the audience was amazed by how he managed to do all that math "instantly"). Maybe he has found a new way to place wires on a coil but it has no mathematical foundation whatsoever. There is nothing advanced in putting some numbers on a torus and see what properties those number have. It's basic math and nothing more. If we could learn something from these guys, the information must be heavily filtered out of mysticism.
